Awesome Lecturer Ever!

Today, 4th October, in the beginning of the day that like usual. I do not have such kind of different, but. there's something different that we have in the third subject. that is Motivation Management subject.

before we attend the class miss Mayang text us to do not late come to class and prepare the question. i don't exactly know for what, but for sure, i just afraid to ask about the assignment because i did not finished yet! hehe.

I cam to the class after Addin text me to hurry up. After I came to in front of the class I see Emma, Ancas, and Addin talking to someone who i never know before. he is a foreigner. and after that i know his name is Matthew, he is from Kansas, America. This guy is really cheerful and nice. I like the way he can easily adapt with us even we just meet up. then, after for a while we kinda have some chit chat and joking with Matthew, we enter the class. in there, we meet Professor Heru and Yeke. Yeke is a student from Cambridge University and she is from London, UK. Yeke and Matthew are in internship for a while to have program to teach English in the learning organization in Yogyakarta.

we heard so many kind of experience about their part time, such kind of Yeke that work in retail store, and she a lot of talk about how to we motivate our self and then how to make ourself is comfort with the work itself. and then Matthew add about some kind of environment, how we deal with such kind of environment and situation that make me realize the differences of the character of professionalism to do work in case if we have work place that the people is similar with our society. how we deal with such kind of hard condition. when we have to make the motivated is coming up, the importance thing of that is deal with ourself first. the kind of comfortness then will follow us to do our job maximize as we can. if the problem is about another employee, be better to make some rule to the employee to have an balance between the profesionalism and the social activities. i mean if we as the leader, the important of motivated not about the money or the incentives, but the deal with such kind of psychological aspect and how the leader can be respect to the other even it is middle level or bottom level to make equalization to all of them so they will motivate they self to accomplish the goal.

we also talk about the -what must we do in the group job? must we do the job indvidually or just one people take over that all and do by themselves and the result is perfect, or the share job into the member of groups but maybe the result not good as the other one. what's your choice?'

most of them said that if in the group in context of college or academic, we have to spread and share the job to all of member, even the result is not quite perfect if someone just handle with that, but the main point in here is how we learn to be a good group member and give a chance to other to be active students and learn about how to respect the other job in order to make a good process of learning, the result is not really matter, even it's important too, but we have done the job as the best we can do. 

Matthew give us question; what you want to choose: the people who just sleep over during the work but the result is perfect, or the people who really diligent to do the work, but the result is not so perfect.

Addin said that he personality choose number one because he thinks that the importance one is the result, and he more deal with that, Nisa added to choose the second one in order to respect the process itself, but after that, the point is ; its better to do diligently and the result is perfectly..

After some of question and discussion about motivation management and the explanation, Miss Mayang ask us one by one to share about our likes or hobby or something that we interested in. Ancas with those kind of Muhammadiyah Youth Movements and martial art that he learn a lot from there, Addin who said about his leadership in youth social program and more tells about the limitation of him to reach such kind of the give same passion to them who actually have different part of passion to do the program, and than about he that learn a lot from the other organization even in inside or outside campus. After that I talk about writing, I running my first book and i hope this is will publish as soon as possible, and i also talk about how i deal with my self when i have an hobby to writing about literature or poems, but in IP News, i have to deal with those kind of different theme like business, social, and so many other that make me realize passion and motivation do not usually come form the things that we like, even we do not exactly like the job/work, the professionalism of us to want develops skills and performance lead us to have 'another passion' like i do. the next, Emma tells us about the stable and school of riding horse. and also how Emma really hate "Horse Satai" ever. haha. Emma love her horse very much. continuing by Nisa that tells about Bontang especially about her pets that have a lot of pets. there are so many pet at her house just like a zoo. haha. the last but not least, Fany, she tells us about her disease that successfully make people in the class is crying, while Fany is one of my friend that i should proud of her because she can survive and can run the life just like she don't get the sick. Yeke give a hug for her to respect her, and we're all know that it is not easy to deal with those kind of situation that Fany did. and she is great.

overall, after all laugh and cry that happen in our class today, i realize something. Just do what you want to do to think what you will get if you work harder, do not think about the money or the incentives. the important one is think what you want to do this for. your parents, your family, or other. this kind of thinking might be follow you to increase the self motivation to our body that will gives an fresh mind and keep it up if we lose your motivation. just thinking again what happiness you will get if you do this job perfectly, and you will know the real motivation is that. just simple. 

when we don't know what the future is, just thinking again what will you achieve from what you do now. if you think that's not satisfied enough, just think a bigger dream that you want to achieve, than motivate yourself to do the best as you can to see them all in your future. exactly. you will get them all.

*sigh*

there's so many thing that coming up to be done! like Yeke said. " I never pending something that must be done soon. I've choose to not sleep rather than pending my assignment." yeah, that's make us discipline and responsible. 

I really really appreciate Miss Mayang to invite Matt and Yeke to our class today. I really really love to meet them, to learn a lot from them, to motivate me and other friend to get scholarship in the excellent university, and to have some internship to other country to develop their knowledge about the other culture, language, and activity that will make us open our eyes that the world is really big to explore.

Thank you Matthew and Yeke for coming. I hope you'll enjoy your internship and get a have awesome experience too in Indonesia. I hope in another time we can meet up again and having fun together. Or maybe if I go to America or London someday. Amen.
